wrecked my bike, need a new fairing, what should I get?

SO i laid my bike down pulling out of a turn on a wet cold day shifting from first to second. It needs really, just a new fairing/windsheild and clutch cover. I was thinking, I might as well trick it out, what other options besides the stock fairings do I have, do you guys have links to shiza for me to buy/checkout?

I have a FZ6 2006 rocket red.

Also my left side blinker blinks, but does not stay on as a running light anymore, any ideas, is my wireing hosed?

My roommate said I should allways rock a camera to catch a good crash, I wish I could have had my supermaning on tape. A week ago I hit a barrel cone on the highway, put me in a wheely as the front wheel ramped up it shooting the cone acrose the highway. But that was my fault, I was really ____ and my helmet fogged up so I shot between them once to get in the emergancy lain, then didnt make it goeing through them again looking back at traffic to make sure it was clear. Some might quit riding in the rain, but na.

i haven't found any options on fairings i don't know if you can swap and put the 07-up fairing on them or do the naked look. i havn't even been able to find a race fairing in the states i know there is a company that makes them for the fz cup in auzzie. as for the turn signal i'd check the bulb first off, if you went down with the filliment hot its very possible that you just blew the bulb

I think I just want the streetfighter converstion FZ6-n.. I didn't know it was this big deal allready invented. So I guess I need to save money up to get the FZ1-HEADLIGHT-KIT

Question:

I have some exposed wire harnesses now that the faring is all munched, should I be worried about water damage? Its the left side fairing part that would come up against the tank.

The bike is offered pretty much anywhere else in the world, without the fairing.

There's a fair number of people who whack their fairings, and decide to do without it on the rebuild.

I went stock but changed the colors and stuff up a bit. It was actually cheaper this way.

thanx, I checked it out. I still like the style in that photo I put up above. It blows my mind how expensive this stuff is. Painting the plastics seems like it will be the hardest part.

painting actually isn't really hard, its mostly in the prep work...i actually have 2 bikes i'm painting this spring for a friend of mine and a mustang drag car...if you skimp on the prep your paint job isn't going to look as good. on a motorcycle i usually use a single stage for the price point and that way its cheaper to repaint in case of another accident
