Wow! I love Christmas!

Ok, it's 6.35am in the morning in my part of the World! I have just got home from work, after one of the craziest nights i can remember in a very long time!.... i am the main DJ in the biggest "retro" club night in Australia! Tonight we put 3950 people through the door! 3500 of those people paid $20 just to get in the door!

Sorry, if it sounds like i am gloating! And i suppose i am! but i just have to share my joy with someone, as my missus is tucked up in bed, sleeping like she should be at this time of the day!!!

Will post video and photo's of the night later today, just to show people how insane it was!!!

Let's just say i get paid very well! I dont work on commision, but i will get a very decent bonus for last night as well!

And if think the door money is huge...average spend per head at the Bar equals over $25 a head as well!!!!

When I here stuff like this... I get all...choke choke....

What do you have to do mod. wise to the cams? Lift, duration or is it fitment?

Hmmm, it's a bit of a black science, like porting of heads....only the true mechanical genius's amongst us understand how it works, but i have been told that R6 "RACE CAMS", are re-machined, and duration, lift etc, is all altered to opimise performance as to the person who is paying the bills requirements...more top end, or more mid range, etc, etc...along with a different size head gasket, to further alter compression ratio, etc...

I dunno, if i throw my engine at someone to have the big bore kit, etc, done, then i will just tell em what i want, and trust that they will "come up with the goods"!!!

The guy who would be doing it, if it happens, is a guy with 25 years experience building race & drag bike motors...he knows his stuff! Lots of Aussie champion race & drag bikes have had his "magic wand" waved over them!

I agree going with the big bore, you would need some real savy getting the right cam to deliver additional performance.
