World Supers....PI 2010, who's going????

Rightio you lot, Myself (FZ6), Ozzieboy(???), and 2 others...Gazza(Z1000), and Steve(Z750), are riding from Adelaide to Melbourne via the GOR next year for the World Superbikes at Phillip Island...

Was just wondering whether any other Fizzers plan on making the trip????

If there was enough of us, maybe we could organise a "meet", centred around the Supers weekend???

I will be there however it wont be on 2 wheels :(

Gonna drive down from Newcastle with wife & child.

In a Winnebago :scared:

Bed, TV, shower & an 18 month old :thumbup:

Word of warning. I was all set to do the after burner day but was talked out of it by a few mates who had a bad experience there in previous years.

Groups are not graded & if it isnt someone carving up the pack at 20 sec a lap quicker its slower riders changing lines on corner entry. Just what ive been told :(

Sounds like a likely scenario to me. I'm thinking I'll do it another time anyway and truck my bike over there in race trim. Otherwise it becomes an annoying exercise in logistics, making sure I've got track tires once I'm there and road tires to and from, etc. At least I wouldn't have to bring back the race tires. I reckon they'd be lucky to last a day on a litre bike at PI:rockon:

sounds a bit like a champions ride day!!! Well, maybe we will leave the track day to when the California superbike school is doing it's stuff at PI!!!

I will be riding over on sports touring tyres anyway....cause if I ride all those straight roads between Adelaide and the GOR with sports tyres, they will be square by the time we get to the good bits anyway!
 
Hmmmm you have me thinking now , must check with the boss about the holiday situation :thumbup:........If i have this worked into my head right it should be easily incorporated into the Adelaide Road Trip :cheer: :D

Now, that would be cool.....Humpy at the Island...Could get messy back at the Aussie Fizzers temporary headquarters after the racing is done each day!!!!

Well, i just confirmed and paid for Accomodation for the 4 crazy's that are going over to PI for the World Supers early next year! Woohoo!

Awesome mate. I've got all my leave sorted and will have my new ride blinged a bit by then and should have enough time to scrape up a wad of moolah for the trip.
 
Hey People, anyone else thinking of, or is going to get tickets for Club Y at the Supers next year....

There are 4 of us from Adelaide waiting for details from Club Y.

It's an awesome package, with the best seats in the house!
