The Yamaha Touring windshield is actually really effective. It turns up at tthe top and while i've only ever ridden my bike with the stock and yamaha windshield and my dads SuperTEN with aftermarket windshield my bike with the Yamaha touring shield is the most effective. I also think it looks better than the stock one on the 06 at least.
