Which material should I use for exhaust

So I've started making my exhaust for my Fz and have a question on which material I should use for my inserts. I'm actually making inserts this time with packing to eliminate that high pitch scream like on my other. I have 2 drops of stainless perforated material that I'm going to roll into two 1 3/4" inserts (one for each pipe) the question I have is which one to use. One drop has 1/32 size holes the other is 3/32. I was thinking that the 1/32 would be better since high frequency sound waves are smaller but @ 1/32" I want to make sure that will suffice and not be too small. So what input do y'all have?
