Does anyone know of a Good Fast Motorcycle Shop in Daytona Beach FL area to buy/mount and balance a rear tire?

Planning a trip in April from Houston>Key West>North Carolina>Bach to H-Town:D

My current tire will make the first half of the trip but don’t think it will make the whole way.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:rockon:

Thanks!

Thanks, but seeing how I’ll be on the road I don’t think I want to mess with pulling the wheel off my self.

You should carry the tools you need in the event you need to. The FZ6 is great for using the same tools over and over. In the pouch they included (aside from the front axle nut) I have all the tools to remove both wheels, fuel tank and all the body work. Just sayin... Pulling the rear wheel is one nut to get the axle free. Considering most shops are 55.00+ hour for labor... if they will allow you to pull the tire off yourself, you might give it a shot.

Thanks and yes I have and carry these tools as well

Here in Houston typically you can find a bike shop that will mount and balance a new tire while you wait for $30 - $40. It’s kind of like going to discount tire for your cage.

Awesome Cycles Charges $20 - $25 and you have to bring them the wheel. For an extra $10 - $15 bucks its worth not having to fool with taking off the wheel as long as the tire isn't over priced, and I am also supporting the local motorcycle shop at the same time :cheer:

I was just hoping I could find a good shop in Daytona because it seemed like a logical place to stop on the way up from South FL. I could roll out of Houston with bran new rubber, but I wanted to have the freshest rubber possible for Deals Gap

Thanks All For Your Input!
