January 10 - January 16: Convoy - C.W. McCall

Good Song. LOL, I think Ray Stevens did a remix of this song.
Here's an amazing bit of trivia for you guys. How many of you have any of the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas albums? Or better yet, the original MS albums Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter? (I do I do!). The leader/mastermind behind MS is a gentleman/drummer (you don't see that combo very often :Flip:) by the name of Chip Davis.
Chip Davis got his start in recording... as C.W. McCall! Twue Story!

Originally the Jefferson Airplane, then the Jefferson Starship, then just Starship, and now I believe they're touring as Jefferson Wheelchair. :D

Yeah, they're out with the 'Stones on the steel prostate tour...

I actually knew that.....I'm fairly impressed that I was born in the 80's and still got a Beatle in my answer.

Not to resurrect a death thread but...

If I was born a few months earlier, I would've been rickrolled.

Ok, this is weird. Mine is August 29, 1977:

Best of My Love - The Emotions

My wife is March 4, 1975:

Best of My Love - The Eagles

Too Strange!!! I think she got the better song, however.

Damn, Lean on Me - Bill Withers.....who???(July 14, 1972)

I am old, never heard of the guy....oh well, I was more into the Sesame Street Posse back then(S.S.P. to those in the know ;)

heres a link to check out your date....Billboard 'Hot 100' #1 Songs (1970 - 1979)

First of all, you're not very old at all if your list only starts in 1970. I'd need a list from 1941:rockon:

Man... Bill Withers is awesome. You've heard Lean on Me right?

Also check out "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone"

I'm "You don't bring me flowers" by Neil Diamond and Barbara Streisand... Your song is way better.
