What to do with straps on Bagster

If you pull the straps tight whilst wet, you can actually thread the excess strapping behind the clips, and up underneath your tank, never to be seen.

Any recommendations on which bag to get, the size I am seeing quoted seem odd so it is difficult to asses how big they really are.
I want something a reasonable size for rallies (weekend trips) without being huge.

I have this bag...have used on heaps of trips...is best if you dont put too mjuch hard stuff at the end nearest you on the bike....as it can dig into you a little....have toured for about 5000km's with this bag...holds heaps, including a helmet if required, has a decent map reader window, and is quite comfirtable to wear as a back pack when off the bike.

whoa' dont cut it off....just tuck the excess behind the clips..
btw I'm using this bagster medea tankbag. Enough to fit a full face helmet and it is expandable. This bag also clips on to the tank firmly and have tested it at speeds of 180km/h.:thumbup:

Ordered the Medea, and a Tweety for day trips.
Tank bag all fitted, wet it good before fitting just need some of the packaging creases to drop out and it will look totally cool.
Strap under seat, excess length is OK to leave.
Side clips cut them down a bit then pushed up behind clip as suggested.
Headstock strap, actually managed to route under the tank behind the front fastening bracket, looks much better than round headstock.
Long strap that goes under tank over top of frame and battery compartment (I assume), this had loads too much length so had to cut some off, rest I tie wrapped to the strap either side under the tank.
Took for a test ride, the grip is amazing on the knees, took a few minutes to get used to, but well pleased. I had been marking the paintwork with the constant rubbing of my leather trousers against tank, the bagster looks so much better than tank protectors, and works really well
