Extra thick tar snakes. Especially in turns. They just have a way moving your bike around in an unpredictable manner. It feels like the bike is going to shoot off the road, even though it always just sort of "jukes" around a bit.

I watched a guy cross one on an overpass/onramp and thought he was going to lose it. It was parallel with the lane, and he drifted across it and I watched the whole bike get unsettled.

I'm with you on that, every time I encounter a large vehicle on my back-roads it's mid-corner.

I used to think that was just weird, dumb luck but I did some mental math and decided it makes sense. On a somewhat twisty road (say an equal balance of turns and straights) us and the driver of the cage spend much more time in the turns than on the straights. Every vehicle is going to be slower in the curves. This is especially true of big vehicles (trucks.) It may seem basic, but once you think of it that way you're less surprised to see them. At least I am.

Still hate it though. Totally ruins the flow.

I'd say any parallel road condition that causes squirming/swimming. Grated bridges, asphalt-to-asphalt joins, etc. It's the most unnerving feeling. It goes like this:

zomgoohhhmgOMGOMGOMGEASYNOW... PHEW!

coming down the highway halfway through a corner at speed, looking up to see a sign saying "earth moving vehicles crossing"!!!! O.O

I really really don't see why they couldn't mount those bleeding signs where they might do some good.

I forgot about this one...

Coming around a blind curve to find gravel or a huge tree limb in your lane! Which is why it is imperative to never ride faster than your visible stopping distance.
