I know its an old post but do I need a raiser kit as well if I want to go with the fz1 or the handlebar isnt touching the tank when turning? Also is all the year for fz1 the same?

No risers needed. Just tilt the bars forward slightly and you won't have any touching issues at full lock.

OK I'm pretty set on the FZ1 flat bars, at 6'2" should I add 1" riser? I want to ride upright but with a wider, flatter arm position. (make sense) BTW this is my 1st post I think, but long time rider and been on another forum. thanks
