I am in no way an expert, but i can't help notice that it has only a 5MP sensor...

Nothing really wrong with that, but that is the same as the Gopro3+ white edition, which goes on their website for 199$

I think that for 37$ difference i would rather go for the real thing than buy a knockoff!

In my opinion it is always worth buying the best you can afford, and if you can afford the 37$ extra for the real deal i would do it.

Agree with what was said above. Gopro 3 white has slightly better specs. Accessories for the gopro are more widely available, and will be for a long time to come. Who knows how long youll be able to buy accessories that are compatible with the knock off. Software is another thing to consider. The gorpo 3 has new software, and with how quick technology changes they are more likely to come out with updates. $37 dollars for only slightly better specs doesnt seem worth it, but its also sort of an insurance for down the road to keep it compatible and up to date.

I personally hate the size and bulkiness of the GoPro cameras, and this one seems to follow suit.

I'd much rather use me Contour cameras.

Having said that, however, if you want to mount the camera to your chest, you can't do that with a bullet cam, so even the mighty Contour has it's limitations.

As such, it depends on your requirements.

Cheers,
Rick
