Am I glad I rode to work today! Not to many days left to ride where I'm living but trying to squeeze every last km out of this year. Hope the weather holds out when I leave work...:(

I know it can get pretty darn cold in the winter in Canada, I remember on one of my trips to Toronto having -20 degrees C, but -30 with windchill, brrrrr.
But on the upside I did see the Niagra waterfall half frozen, and skidding around an empty (frozen) parking lot was a hoot.

Hope the cold holds off a bit longer for you.

How many biking days do you guys get a year in canada?

Im from Niagara Falls NY and for most people there is about 6 months a year of good riding. But some of us crazy ones will ride when ever it is dry. Just dress in layers and tought it out. My dad has ridden atleast once every month. (he has heated seat, vest, grips)

Thats one tough dude, and I think twice to go out when it's a little frosty.
Doesn't he have to fit a second battery just to power his clothes. :Flash:

Not enough, but the roads are usually dry from the snow in April to the end of October. We've had a year when snow didn't fall until February (hell froze over that year). Where is that global warming I keep hearing about?!!!!:(
