I mostly post on advrider.com and that's where I keep a log of my daily rides when I'm able to get out of the house for a couple of hours. Hope you guys don't mind me posting.

Finally took the old girl to stretch her legs on Father's Day. The kids were with the in laws and the wife was cleaning so no better time to get away. Rode around 34 miles which isn't much but it was a good shake down run. Also installed a Puig racing screen. Looks really good but I'm afraid I have more wind hitting me around my shoulders neck/head area than with the stock windscreen. For us Floridians I stumble across the location of the Zellwood Corn Festival. Have been living in the state for 12 years (originally from Puerto Rico) and have never been and it's about 15 miles from where I live.

Some before and after photos of the stock and Puig screen

Here are some pics from pre and post bike night

In the pictures you can see a FZ7, GSXR750, FZ6, and GSXR1000. Later a CBR600 and a FZ6R would show up.

Today was a very hot day to go out riding but when the opportunity arises (wife was shopping and kids with the inlaws) you put your helmet, jacket, and gloves and go out riding!

Today I grabbed one of the tags from the Central Florida Sanbox and other than that enjoy a really hot day out on two wheels. The temperature never dropped below 95 so was sweating bullets the whole time.

Now to the pictures

This was the tag picture

Was riding and stumbled on this gem. DeBary Memorial Park in honor of those who served on the Korean War

I didn't think it was a Korean War era plane and this plaque helped confirm that

Rode 69 miles for the day and this was my trek. Her entry discovered Galileo maps and its route tracking abilities. I was very pleased with the results

This past Thursday I went to bike week. Great time all around but that's not why I'm posting this. It's about the importance of riding AGATT. I'm the only one in the group that rides AGATT all the time whether it's hot or cold I always wear my gear. Not the most comfortable at times but knowing what I know from my years of working in the ER I know better if you know what I mean.

This past Thursday was no different. There were 6 of us and I was the only one AGATT. The others at least had helmet but one was just wearing a helmet and riding in shorts and a shirt. The rest just had a helmet and they were all in short sleeve shirt, jeans, and no gloves. We were at a light about to make a right hand turn. The guy on the GSXR1000 was starting to go and engaging the friction zone and slowly giving it throttle. What he didn't notice was that there was a lot of sand and down he went. I know it's a slow speed fall maybe 5-10mph when his rear tire went out from under him causing him to go down. I'm glad he fell there and not doing any serious speed on the roadways. Not much carnage but he had abrasions to his right elbow and knee. Nothing too serious but enough too scare anyone to start riding AGATT. To make matters worst he is my cousins wife and as being part of the family you tend to see things in a different way.

He wasn't face by the fall and his response to the fall was "I couldn't see the sand because of my helmet, next time I'm not wearing it." I know being 24 makes you feel invincible but damn! Wtf are you thinking man. We were able to finish the ride as him and the bike were okay. I advised him to ride AGATT since he has all the gear but I could tell it went in one ear and out the other. I pray that is the first and last time he falls because it's not going to be pretty when he does.

Here are the only two pics of the night

Just realize I took this other pic before we headed out. I will have to say that everyone that heard the bike that day was impressed with the sound of the new exhaust. Everyone commented how it sounds like a 750 or even a 1k
