Vehicle data display - Iphone Accessory

So these guys over at GaugeFace came up with a cable that sends information from a Harley's diagnostic port and displays it on an Ipod/Iphone. Its an interesting idea, but too bad they haven't made one for any other manufacturer *cough* Yamaha *cough*.

The installation looks pretty easy according to the website but doesn't go into real technical details. It isn't clear what happens if a call came in or if someone wanted to run some music ported out to a headset.

Does anyone here have their Iphone/Ipod/Ipad(???) mounted up on their handlebars? If this idea is expanded to other manufacturers I'm wondering how easy the screen is to see in the daytime.

I was looking for similar tech. for the other brand motorcycles.... not possible... ha ha ha
H.D. bikes have own kind of OBD (Cage version) output link, so that all the motorcycle's data could be achieved from it.
However, there no standard tech. for all the other motorcycles.
Some dyno test tool company sells similar version for other motorcycles I think; with LCD display, can't remember which company ???
