V rod light for streetfighter build?

Just bought an 04 insurance claim and need to replace most of the front end. I want to do the streetfighter look but it seems outrageously expensive for some of the headlight options. Anyone have any onfo on using a Vrod headlight? Any other advice suggestions on where to get parts for a streetfighter build would be appreciated.
