Well, I just got done with my last ride of this year, it was fun but kinda cold (47) when I started out, but I had my heavy coat with the liner and gloves and I thought it would be fine. Well it turned out ok but by the time I got back it was 36 and boy it was a little uncomfortable.

One of the roads I like to take around here is through a state park, unfortunately the ranchers get to let their cows on the park for part of the year so you really have to be careful.

As you can see, there's not much scenery to look at in my neck of the woods, but the sunsets sometimes are nice. I was trying out my timer on my new camera so these aren't the greatest quality but not too bad for a beginner. It was too cold to take my gloves off anyway!

Desolate looking place , i was expesting tumble weeds to blow through the pic's :D..... Some twisties through those rolling hills would be super sweet .... Ohh yeah and the best thing you can do to avoid those winter blues is........Move to Australia :rof: :rof:

I have always wanted to ride through the desert! I know there are no curves or scenery but I love how little traffic there is and the desert atmosphere, leaves the mind with enough room to think and enjoy the ride. But maybe thats just me. Thanks for the pics.

Wow cold. The terrain reminds me of certain parts of Central California. Does it snow there? Get some grip heaters.

Yeah we get quite a bit of snow, last year we got about 45 inches in one dump, and it gets pretty cold and windy too. It was at least minus 10 for around two weeks in a row last january. brrr... I'll post some pics of the snow this year to make you glad you live where you do.
