Hey, I need to know in your opinion. I had a new back tire put on a few months ago Michelin Pilot Road 2CT is what I went with and I have to say what a GREAT tire so far. Now I am over 7,000 miles on the front tire (stock) and it is cupping quite a bit (you can eat soup out of them). What I need to know is whether I should go with the Road 2 on the front or just the regular Road? Tell me what you all think. I would like to stay with the Michelin brand. :cheer: :cheer:

I'd say, go with what's in your budget. The Road 2 is an improved tire, but also more expensive. I wanted to get the Michelin Road 2 CT's for mine, but at the time they were out of stock and I was in a hurry for fresh rubber before my 1600 mile trip, so I went with the original Road. Still a huge improvement over the stock tires.

In general I would advise you to always get the absolute best tires you can afford. Maybe even some you can't. It's the only thing holding you to the road.

I guess my real question is does the daul compound really matter much on the front tire as suppose it will not wear as fast as the back. Does anyone have the 2CT on the front of there FZ6 and if so how well do you like it?

I've got a pair of pilot road 2CT and I love them, I've never riden with the pilot road's though. I have read in several places that the 1 and 2 can be combined as they have a similar tread.
unfortunately I recently got a nail in my front tire :( so I had to fork out for a new one.
