I also checked out the Vendramini Elephant boots! What a trip! Like if I was going to join the Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts ADV Motorcycle Club, I would get these! Trippy man!!!!

The Thorogoods look like a well made comfortable work/kickin around shoe/boot!
I used to be on concrete all day and Redwings were my choice.
These look like they would be the boot to try today.

Thorogood's are great boots, but they stiff as $h!t until they get broke, you do the pegiun shuffle for a month, I've been to hell and back with a pair 10" steel toes w/ metatarsal foot guard, they look like hell, but they refuse to break, I love to wear them while riding, the foot guard is great for shifting.
