This damn f***ing media is wrong!!!

Today actually scared me....

I was knocked down (250 pound 6'0'') by a SVBIED (suicide vehicle-born improvised explosive device) today. The blast sent up 150 foot flames and a column of black smoke that mushroomed off after 700 feet. Sadly, it took 5 US troops out, civilians, Iraqi police/army, and many more injuries. After 12 hours of this happening, the media reports these as the "Top stories:"

"Stop Buying Baby Carrots

Bag Is a Huge Rip-Off but It's Not
The Worst: 60 Big Wastes of Cash"

"What People Use for Acne Treatments"

"Cheating Scandal Rocks Springsteen"

"First Lady Obama Gets A Wax Statue"

"The President and Pizza Wars"

"YouTube Might Have Hidden Drug Cartel Messages"

NOT A SINGLE THING UPON THE ATTACK!!
This is the largest attack upon US troops in over a year and a half.

May the injured US soldier live, and may the fallen rest in peace...

I understand your anger over these issues but I believe in my own heart that alot of people dont care anymore about the war, or you were watching the wrong news channel. Maybe it was covered elsewhere?

Your government are probably censoring the news...bad press and all that...cant have that now when they are asking for money to fund the pointless war.

But government censorship of the news would be illegal and unconstitutional, and thus our administration wouldn't dare infringe on these rights of the American people...

There doesn't seem to be much need for it though, MSM is pretty effective at self policing their "message". Recent CNBC meetings took place where the CEO reportedly attacked people for being too tough on Obama. A bunch of business reporters being told to take it easy on Obama is like chickens being told to stop criticizing KFC.

The really interesting thing though is ratings. If these are really just capitalists trying to turn a profit then clearly CNN, NBC, MSNBC, etc. would have altered their gameplan, seeing as how Fox ratings are through the roof. Their veiwership is suffering, yet they are still dedicated to spinning everything to the far left and largely ignoring the decenting opinion. I'd like to see a show called HARDFACTOR with Bill O'Reilly and Keith Olberman in which they attempt to kill each other every night in increasingly creative ways. Do you think these far left news agencies will begin to "even out" to increase viewership at some point?

.....

I wish you were right and this were true 100% of the time, but this is where you're going to loose. It happens, more than anyone probably knows about.

Just recently a man in New Hampshire attempted to film video in a court lobby, a public place where anyone can be before a pulic trial where anyone can be, and he got arrested and he is in jail. He makes a journalistic video series type thing that's called the Obscured Truth Network, or OTN. So, he's media, and he is in jail for attempting to do what the media does.
