These are great, I've had the tailbag for a year and it's amazing how much stuff you can jam in them. Perfect for a weekend trip if not more.

If you're not going to do hard luggage, which IMO is the best option, Cortech does the best soft luggage I've had. I've had that tank and tail bag, as well as the side bags; I still have the Sport tailbag and use it often on many bikes. I particularly like the zip-out expansion on either side.

Consider those Sport side bags, too, as they all buckle together in a nice compact package.

I have the Cortech Sport tailbag and saddlebags. Tourmaster makes some really good products. I also wear their jacket and riding pants.

Sounds like I'm too late to offer an opinion but I will anyway. I have the Cortech mini tank bag and love it. I have a Nelson-Rigg tail bag that looks very similar to the Cortech bag you linked. One thing the NR bag does is expand at the bottom so the main cargo area can gain about 3"

I have both and love them. I use them all the time and they will easily hold what you mentioned plus a lot more. I also have the saddle's but only use them on long trips the tail and tank have thousands of miles useage on them with no issues.

I use both of these bags..I have the magnetic base for the tank bag and have never had an issue with it moving around. The tail bag is also good, I do have trouble stuffing my lap top in it for work though.

which nelson rigg bag do you have?

I have the CL150. I just went to their site and it looks like the price has jumped up about 30 bucks since I bought mine 18 months or so ago. I still recommend their products, well made and they stand behind them.

ive had both those on multiple bikes for a few years, in fact they are on my fz right now. my only minor complaint is that the tank bag has lost some of its shape and is a bit flatter than new, but i wouldnt hesitate to buy either one, they are great!
