Only stop while riding a bike was 1991, riding a 1984 Honda CB700s Nighthawk red/black.
Riding down GA400 where some think that's the speed limit too, haulin' butt at over 90, switching lanes thru traffic when I went left to pass two cars then back to the far right lane. As i look in the mirror, there is a Roswell PD and GSP cruiser headed up my exhaust. I pull over to wait for them. The GSP gets out, talks to the RPD then they both approach me. Standard questions, "Do you know how fast you were going?" "I almost didn't see you except for the bright red shirt." I wasn't wearing all my gear that day. Then as I hand over my license, the GSP says he once had the exact same bike. Then RPD says he had the black/blue model. After a few minutes of discussing the joys of riding, RPD lets me off with a 60 in a 55 ticket. Could have been hauled off to jail in Roswell for the speed I was running.
That day I thought all cops aren't that bad.
