The....offroad thread!

I know that for lot's of us... the FZ6 isn't the only bike we own, so i thought for those of you with offroad vehicles, we'd have a thread for posting pics stories and vids....
(yes i started this thread mainly because i tried my Versys offroad today and it's ubah :spank

Anyways i'm trying out different mounting positions with the Drift so if nobody else contributes at least you can watch an MXer make a fool of himself driving a street bike offroad (and no not wimpy little public trails... you'll see )

Ok, so i'm too big a wuss to put the sticky adhesive on my new HJC so i slapped it on the old Vega and i do love the PoV you get from it!

Took the V out earlier and had a great trail ride... unfortunately i forgot i had it in 1080p mode and took a 10 min vid... youtube said it would take 500 mins to upload lol... so i went out with it now on the helmet (was on the handle mount), and as ya can see in the Vid, it's gettin dark out and the dew was starting to have an effect, whereas it was pretty dry earlier, so nothing too hardcore this round :thumbup:
What your going to see is pretty much my property... well parts of it, the tower at the end of the gravel road is a Sprint/att/t-mobile (almost typed mobile one lol)...followed by some field riding into, woodsy creek riding, to my homemade MX track that hasn't seen use or upkeep in a while (piney area)... shut it off to keep vids short so i'd have a chance to upload them (internet isn't lightning fast lol)

My quad..a Suzuki Vinson 500 4x4. Ive ridden it alot more than my bike this year. Too many people on the road...there was no one around for miles when I took these shots.

ps..also a shot of the 6.5lb rainbow trout I pulled out of Roche lake the day before. MMMMMMM...Kamloops rainbow..:rockon:
pps..included shot of WonderGirl because she was integral in landing that lunker. Once it was in the boat she pounced on it to make sure it didnt jump out..;p

I have a banshee with a crapload of mods I also recently bought a blown up dt230 traily and it has traction control should a bit of fun when I get the money to fix it.

Here are a few of mine. What camera is that in the 1st post? Did you convert the video because the road has a lot of noise on it almost like a special effects noise filter was used on it. I would be afraid of scratching that new bike in the woods lol. Nice to see you using it off road though.

It's a drift 170 stealth... poorly mounted on a helmet lol... i'm no video editing genius... I probably should try and work on some stuff... Basically i transfer it from the SD to the comp then upload it to youtube...
Advice is always welcome lol

I'll put the camera on my yzf426 or my friends crf450 next weekend and i'll have some fun if it isn't raining :thumbup:

BTW i envy you, WV has some great riding, on and off road... i'd have to travel 4 hrs to the Adirondacks to see anything like that :thumbup:

At least you live in civilization lol. I have to travel 12 miles to watch a movie and I am at least 1 hour away from anything else to do lol. There are a lot of fun curvy roads everywhere though.

I'd rather drive 12 twisty miles than 5 straight miles lol.
I've been to alot of the country, and my favorite places we're down in West Virginia, i absolutely love those hilly forest twistys! :thumbup:

Maybe i'll move down there one day, assuming they don't shoot me for being a "yankee" (last time i was there somebody got pretty upset that i was from NY, wouldn't sell me a Mt. Dew at a Nascar race lol)
Anyways, more vid's to come, lord knows i've got a variety of vehicles i like to have fun with :thumbup:

I've improved on my ttr 125... dropped a tooth on the front sprocket, re-jetted, air box mod, and put on exhaust washers

Went to ride some trails Thursday but they were snow packed.......So we rode them anyways. 3.5 miles and it was too deep to ride anymore.
