This is an article on a local rider - Matt Battista - he was left paralised and is racing again. I've watched him get "strapped" onto his race bike - he is an absolute inspiration. He used to be a top motocross in Western Australia. We were on the dirt track at our local club @ 22 years ago when this kid rode past Mike like he was standing still. Matt Battista. Mike was a little shown up on his CR250

I was wondering where I recognised him from then. It was only when he said he was ex navy and in the paralimpics team, that it was him who came round and did a presentation for the navy ski champs one year. Top bloke.
