The embarrassing 80's

So funny, I was riding my bike last week and when I took off I started humming a tune in my helmet. At first I didn't realize what it was, once I did I had to laugh at myself. A childhood fantasy was resurfacing, many of you are too young to remember this but I am sure there are a few geeks like me who remember this POS show that only ran one year....

Street Hawk's not that geeky. not if you had mentioned Automan then we could break out the geeks lol.. I did download the Street Hawk series last year but only made it to the second episode and gave it up. Seaquest DSV though is still pretty cool. :rockon:

It's pretty funny how 80s that bike looks. But it was capable of 'immense firepower'

I guess there's only so much you can do with a cheesy motorcycle show. How many jumps and rides through flames/out of windows can an audience take? What happens if you've got the criminals cornered and they walk BEHIND YOU. Good luck swinging the fairing-mounted guns around! That bike must have weighed 800lbs.

Yeah, but Airwolf had some great theme music.

A friend of mine in England is a Street Hawk obsessive. He's built several versions out of whatever he finds lying around. He calls them "Scrap Hawk."

Yeah... Airwolf did have a great theme, its on my ipod. I need to finish out the geektom and add street hawk to it.

Just noticed the scanner lights on the "Scrap Hawk" that is great!

Unfortunately I do remember this show as well... and you are correct that Automan makes street hawk look like an academy award winner.
