The Ashes 2010-11

'I don't like cricket, no no, I ****ing hate it!'

Thats how im singing the song from now on.

England, well played once again.

After a very poor 2010 as regards the football this makes up for it I must say. Of course it is all down hill from here. :D

Ya reckon, i think this may be the launching pad of a golden era for English cricket! The depth looks to be there....i suppose, you wont know just how much this series has done for England in terms of belief, till they actually play a side at the top of their game as well...ie, India!

Very relieved that Khawaja wasn't picked before. He looks too good.

Dam true, he played with great spirit. And also acquitted himself in front of the Journo's; for the post match interview like a true gentleman. Nice bloke, I look forward to seeing him in the future Aussie side.

Oh gosh! When you $hit, your $hit! :(

nup! not even a little bit...but i bet our English friends are gloating....just like i was when i was living in London when Australia won the Ashes in 89!!! You know, the "Ball of the Century" series!

Not gloating mate, Gloating is what you can do, when you have had home supremacy for the last 24 years.
I am quietly reflecting in radiated national pride.

PS:liar:

Noooooo........... this has to go on for another 12 months or until it happens again, whichever is the longer.

Just like Ducati pulled out of WSBK because they have stopped winning, Australia should withdraw from cricket indefinetely.

3 innings defeats :spank::spank::spank:

THREAD REVIVAL

How are the ODI's going?

We're going next weekend - 6th Feb at the WACA. Wonder if it will be a clean sweep :aus:

I did mean to post in here the other night , but got busy as we do

Say what you like about 'Pup' (im not a fan either) but that screamer of a catch he took the other night has to be in the top 10 of all time   He was like lightning & to get both hands on it aswell  WOW

On a happier note for us Aussies....at least we are doing the do in the one dayers....

Have got Peterson, Prior & Broad on my guest list for Flashdance tomorrow night, and am expecting a few more of the Poms as well!!!

Plus the Aussies will turn up again, like they did after the recent Aus V's Eng 20/20 game in Adelaide...

Might have to try and get a decent game of "backyard cricket" going in the Beer Garden!!!

:D

What a run chase! :steve:

5-1 so far

Where have all the poms gone?......

Quiet, that's where they've gone

See ya at the WACA on Sunday :aus:
