I have read horrible reviews of the led intergrated tailights, my question is does anybody know where to get a dark smoke tail light lens? or would the intergrated led and a added led strip for the brake be the way to go?

I have the integrated LED and have not had any problems with it. I also have the Two Bros FE kit with Turn signals. You can try KneeDraggers.com for the smoke lens.

I am probably getting the led tail now but with the smoke lens, I have also looked into getting the yamaha full fairings for it but gotta go through Canada.

Sidebar: In case you don't know, PITA to change out the lens. It's not like an "ordinary tailight lens" change operation (no engine removal required, however).

If you want to keep the LED thing going, I think the Watsen design LED would work on those fairings and make the installation of them easier as well.

i have the integrated led tail light, i am a little confused you are worried about the brightness of the led's yet you want to go with a smoked lens... that does not make a whole lot of sense..... makes about as much sense as the black turn signal covers taht dont come off at night or very dark tinted windows at night......

Thats what I was asking, People with the smoked lens with intergrated led tail to let me know if it was a brightness issue. If I found enough saying that it was plenty bright I would buy. It seems that some people want to be smarta$$'s rather than lend a helping hand. Thanks to those of you that actually said that you had these type tail lights and gave good info to help a fellow rider out.

Go with the standard bulb mate,no brightness issues at all.I had the same concerns about the LED's and the lens is a real PITA to change.

the lens itself is a PITA to change or the led integrated unit one? i mostly just want to change out the red one of mine to clear or smoked. dont know whether to go for the led integrated one (however im really not that good or patient with electrical mods) or just get a new smoked lens to change out the stock one...

Cgeorge1, I haven't recieved mine yet but I ordered (from 58cycle) A smoked lense, led non-integrated tail light. If you have some patience hold your horses and I'll be writing a review (of the lense and 58cycle) shortly!
