Swingarm Stickers

I remember reading somewhere that when moving to other states that you needed the information that is posted on the swingarm stickers to be posted on the bike. I am moving to Cali, but want to remove the stickers for the purpose of cleaning up the bike. Are these stickers at all necessary?

Not sure for you guys accross the pond. But i am sure it is just information for the user of the bike and not needed for any legal reasons

I've moved several times and I've never been asked for the information on those stickers. Never heard of this.

Never heard that... All my stickers are gone.

I'm 99% that the only sticker that is supposed to stay on is the vin sticker, everything else can be removed
