swapping/switching colors - 05 - ?

Has anyone ever swapped the parts to a different color? I would like ot go with the yamaha blue instead of my purplish 05 colors.

Not sure what the other blue is called and not sure of what parts would have to be swapped exactly...

Anyone do this?

may be cheaper to paint than buy all the parts. also if you have any aftermarket plastic (belly pan, seat cowl, etc) you can have it all match.

Also, then you can go for a more interesting colour of your choice like yellow. I'd quite fancy my Yamaha FZ6 to be in Kawasaki Green, just to confuse the hell out of people!

FYI, the '06 and '07 blue are called Deep Purplish Blue Metallic. If you see DPBM listed as a part's color, that's what it is. It's also better known as Royal Blue...or if you live in Kentucky...University of Kentucky Blue. :rockon:

All fairing/tank/etc parts for 04-06 are interchangable, and everything but the fairing is interchangable for 04-09

I have 07 grab rails and sidepods, and 04 main fairing on my 06

Lol. As long as you start off saying "SANGER_A2 had this amazing idea..." :spank: Oh yeah, and you post pics of the process. I'm thinking I may be bored of black in a year or two and want to go a bright colour. I was thinking more likely yellow or orange though.

Would rather not paint - I will just sell the other parts - they are in perfect shape - I won't get dollar for dollar but close enough for the mod.

Where can I go through and find the parts list for everything that I need to order?
