I can't believe there were only two posts that adressed one of the most important, if not THE most important mod to any street bike: suspension!!!
Yes, before you spend a dime on cosmetics, go ahead and get your rear peload and front forks set up *just for you*. Nothing like putting traction and weight EXACTLY where it needs to be to get the absolute most and safest ride one can out of a bike!
It's the only mod I'm doing to mine, excepting the frame sliders.
There are some really good posts in the how to section about doing the fork job yourself, but if you don't think you can pull it off, schedule some shop time for it ASAP.
