At 50.000 quid, I'd be saving some more money. I could imagine myself in a Skyline GTR.... heh

Seriously though, the STi is amongst the cars that attract people that are into tuning. The difference between 320hp and 400hp is SAFELY do-able with less money. This is not a "tuner's" car IMO. It's a collector's car.

Eh, I is pretty cool. Problem is, as the WRX has grown up.... It has gotten heavier and heavier. Right now, I could swap my Legacy wagon with a USDM EJ205(essentially make it a GT-B fr those lucky folks in Japan/NZ/Aus) and put in a little work. And ta-da, same power in a car 400+lbs lighter, a stiffer frame, for $25000 less.
Don't get me wrong, I love Subarus and tuning them. I just don't like the new WRX. Bring back a Ver. 4 RA WRX Impreza and I would buy today!

I know what you mean,their are tons of tuned Scoobys here (including my 360bhp V Limited)



But as a brand new Ferrari Slayer,that's been factory built to be as reliable as a Toyota,£50K looks pretty cheap,with the bonus that it's a lot more exclusive than any Supercar

Fureinku, nice Scoob. As far as WRX's in the states, the MY05 was my favorite. And I do totally agree, for a factory car, it would be a BLAST! It is nice being able to hide in the crowd, and then smoke the super car guys. lol Best part about my wagon..... I can run 95mph all day long (normally don't, I drive quite slow most of the time) and whenever the cops come looking, all they see is a tan wagon. While the bright red '09 Mustang with a slightly louder exhaust catches all the attention. haha
