Well, keep your ears open for it.

Not related, but make sure your chain is tightened properly. Too tight, it WILL WHINE ,make odd noises WHILE in motion.

Read your owners manual, you need about 50mm's total up and down at it's tightest point. Measured on the CC at about the edge of the lower, plastic swing arm guard.. And keep it well lubed..

Another thought that comes to me is a possible starter problem. Either starter button locked on or a sprag clutch problem.

A starter button problem would probably result in a burned starter and it's is rare I hear of sprag clutch failure but being it is intermittent and engine rpm related......
