On University Parkway near ETSU this morning while in my cage. I know I'm always posting about not being materialistic, but I haven't posted about not being a hypocrite. There was much drooling by me.

It was red. Guy had a full set of cases on the back and it looked like a great touring machine. I think it looks great in either color, but it's almost obligatory to go with that Ducati red.
Stopped at a red light in Santa Monica last night, a black 1200 Multi-Strada pulls right up alongside of me. We talked until the light went green. As like most owners have said, rides unlike anything else.

The new Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Sport is an amazing machine. I just couldn't justify spending $20k+ on something without 4 wheels!

Last time I glanced on Ebay there was one with 3k miles at around $13k. Unless I just fall into a pile of cash, I just don't see a reason to buy a bike new considering how many fine, barely-ridden, garaged examples there ends up being in the pre-owned market.
