Just wondered how everyone as been coping with all the snow that we have had. :( I have not used my bike now for over a week and I really miss it. Been to work in the car but I don't think its the same as the bike even though its nice to have a heater. :D

Ride safe Phil.

My bike is tucked away and won't be out til the salt is gone. It's had a new set of Scorpions fitted so isn't feeling too left out.

I went to work last saturday morning with the thermometer showing -7. This morning the roads were like a skating rink. No way I'm risking the bike in that. Forecast for tonight appears to be -8 here. I'll happily take the car as it's warm, dry and I have a boring 30 mile motorway journey each way.

I heard you guys were getting hammered with snow over there. How much are we talking (in inches...lol...I don't do the metric system. Silly American here)?

My bike has been in the garage for just over a week I took it for a blast this evening It felt great I will try & use it as much as I can this week I prefer the bike to the car regardless of the cold.

No snow here, just icy roads, but other places had 16 inches over one night. Bear in mind that half an inch brings the country to a halt.

We had 18 inches of sunshine here today:thumbup::BLAA:

Was sweating my guts out working on Wolfman's bike last night:eek::spank::spank::ban::D

It wasn't my fault. I wasn't issued with an angel for my shoulder...just two pitch forked dudes, and they made me do it.

We have had about 5 inches of rain which hasnt stopped me riding for a second

You could always send the snow to the Adelaide oval if you like & save the Aussie's ar$3$ in the 2nd test :D

Riding up to a week ago then Winter hit HARD. Damn Canadian Alberta Clipper rolling in from the High Plains to Upstate New York. Snow flurries for most the week, temps below freezing. Presently a 3" snow cover/28f/13f wind chill/ 20 mph winds, gusts to 28. This SciFi Style Desolation for the rest of the week. Winter's just begun.

And don't you forget it :sinister:

BTW, what's snow?

Nothing much. What'snew with you:BLAA:.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I would go bonkers laying up my bike. I really do feel for you folks. Still...I'm sure it has its good points too?

I can live with rain if it's warm.

I'm keeping any snow I get - don't want to give you any more help!

The snow's been a right pain! I take the bike to work as the missus takes the car, but coming back home last Wednesday, although fine on the motorway, was like ice speedway once I got into the little back roads towards home! I was surprised at how well the Pilot Road 2's did once they were warm!

Decided to take the missus to work on the Thurs and Fri and leave the bike at home! Meant getting up at 6am and spending a long time stuck in traffic, but it was warm and dry, plus getting in and out of all the gear usually takes another 30 mins!

It's about 2 degrees here today, with sleet and I have to take the bike to work later...never thought I'd be praying for rain (like the Aussies at the mo  )

Had 2" or so up our lane until today when it melted away.

Got the bike out of the shed and checked the battery etc but all seemed OK apart from how filthy I left it last time I put it away:eyebrow:

I did wash it but it was getting dark and I missed loads of bits

here too :surrender: a couple of the main motorways were shut down yesterday  I was pleased I took the cage to work yesterday (the snow fell in the afternoon).
