Thanks to ReblTeen84, although I always wear jeans when riding (no shorts), I'm looking at enhancing that with a pair of riding pants.
I have an Icon Team Merc jacket (several years old), with 3 snaps on the inside of the jacket at the bottom for connecting riding pants to the jacket.
What I'm wondering is do all riding pants use the same style and placement of snaps, or am I right in my assumption that I need to get Icon pants for them to connect (or does it even vary between Icon styles)?
I'm thinking textile or mesh, probably armored textile with some kind of waterproof liner (possibly removable), to wear over jeans. More concerned with summer riding than cold weather gear (I'll just layer up if I decide to ride in the off-season).
Thanks in advance!
