Here is a picture from a trip out to Colorado when the bike was barely broken in, I put close to 4,000 miles that trip. Rapid transit tank bag with hydration and Tecknic saddlebags.

just got home from a 3 day 1600km trip through the BC interior, Vancouver to Nelson, to Vernon, back home to Abbotsford. Here's a few pics.

I'm on the Black 2008, my nephew is on the Blue 2007, and my older brother on the 1988 Harley

This is my 07 and my brothers 650 vstar on a 500mile trip from Des Moines to NE Iowa. Neither of us have real luggage but the backpacks strapped to the seats seemed to work well.

These are from my Michigan -> Colorado -> Michigan trip I took this summer (don't know why I didn't post it here!)

Just as we crossed into Missouri:

Finding a good campground was tougher than we thought... The river at this one was what I like to call "Mountain Dew Green"...

Filling up in Kansas... One of these is not like the other...

Tankbag was all I needed while in Colorado for our 2 day trip from Colorado springs through aspen, finally to montrose. (And back to CO Springs the following day)

Testing out some luggage. Just got a Ventura setup but I think I'm going to go a different directionand fabricate a different rack to better suit my needs.

Out of the dozen or so tankbags I have this one fits the best on the FZ. Going to try my Giantloop Fangango as well and see how that fits.

Longest trip so far was a ride from St. Louis, MO to Lake Geneva, WI. Since then I've added Givi soft luggage and plan on taking a trip this summer to Florida then up the coast a bit.

Okay it isn't the fz6, but since i haven't taken it "touring" yet, here is a bike that has.

May '91 in Pa. This was after a viscous storm. I remember having to stop under a highway bridge.
