Okay, so as far as I'm concerned...there are a few things that are apparent to me:
1. I am very sunburned.
2. I need a new rear tire.
3. I need to clean my chain.
This Friday after work, I left from Laredo, TX and rode to Austin. Not that bad of a trip. It was about 225 miles in total. It was a fun ride. I took off with the sun fading out and eventually was happy to ride in the cool night air. However, yesterday when I came back I got very sunburned on my arms and back of my neck. I'm so stupid for not applying sunblock before I left!! I also messed up by forgetting my jacket in my hurry :spank:
I got home around 5ish and proceeded to wash my bike as soon as I got home. I adjusted my clutch (finally) and I rechecked my tire pressure. Upon inspection of my rear tire I noticed that I am going to need a new one very soon. Sure, it's not completely wasted to the wear line but I still don't like the fact that I CAN notice it. I'll maybe buy one later on today. I also need to clean my chain. It's nasty. Full of dirt and grease. That's my first step after work today.
I took a nice long ride last night as well with two of my buddies and my friend Gio (who loves motorcycles so much). After much persuasion, I MADE her wear a jacket, gloves, and a helmet so I would allow her to take my bikes around the block. Nothing cooler than a pretty girl on a hot bike that is properly geared up.
So yeah...it's very early. I went to bed at 4 this morning. I had to be at work at 8 AM. FML. How is your day going so far?
BTW, I've noticed that my friends' brand new FZ6 is acting a tad bit weird. His bike struggles to start sometimes. He has to keep holding down the starter button for the bike to eventually crank. This happened twice while riding last night. Weird. We resolved the issue by just turning the key OFF and ON again. Anybody else had this issue?? ALL of my bikes (wrecked or not) turn over right away. What's going on with his??
