Do they have different compounds in the same name? These things are as hard as Freddy Flintstones tires.
I've ridden on 2 sets of them now on two different bikes and find that they let go in a straight line in the wet with very little encouragment.:eek: This is just my observations and relates to my riding style (although I was taking it easy.) and certainly isn't intended to belittle anyone's tire choice.

If you've found a tire that you like that works for you...stick with it.:thumbup:

Definitely going the Power 2CT's though:rockon:.

I dunno bout the different compounds , but i have given these things hell but they are just too soft to last :(...... You should she to tortured pilling of rubber on the edge's from todays little outburst :D...

There must be a couple of compounds for there to be to very very different reviews , i wouldnt buy them again (unless money was no object) because of the lack of K's in a set , i being a family man needs a set to last longer than 5000k's :thumbup: now if i was rich , it'd be a different story :thumbup:

I vaguely remember a converstion with my tire service provider about them and him mentioning the letter "F" and saying they weren't likely to be very sticky.....I'd have to take a look and maybe stroll through some info on the web site (when I'm curious and bored one day...lol).

My axle armour wont transfer from the FZ6 yet....it will soon though.

Unfortunately, first impressions stick, and now that I've heard most of the different cans on an FZ6 in the flesh, I reckon the Scorps tend to be a bit "Buzzy or Farty"...lol... and the Two bro's are deep and raucous...lol.

The TB.s can on the FZ1 is almost exactly the same, construction-wise as the FZ6, so I know it will sound awesome....and they are currently only 499 bucks US or 550 OZ ish.
