Bike been sitting idle for like 5 months. Bought bike start of season @ 3,000km. Now has 12,800km. Have done/plan to do the following before I take her out on the first ride of the season. What am I missing:

1) Oil changed

2) Brake Fluid checked

3) Coolant checked

4) Brakes checked

5) Chain cleaned and lubed

6) Air filter cleaned

7) Visual inspection of tires, surfaces, connections, and checking for anything that is loose without actually opening anything up

What am I missing? Anything?

EDIT:

8) Tire Pressure

Sounds like you've covered mostly everything. Make sure to check your TIRE PRESSURE. Once you startup your engine, make sure ALL the lights work.

Besides that, I can't think of much else. Have fun, but watch for GRAVEL. There's going to be LOTS of gravel; if you fall, it will be the gravel.

He just DRILLED IT!!! TIRE PRESSURE IS KEY!!! May just be my big butt, but took a couple good bounces on the seat to get the suspension to really wanna move...

ah yes, i knew that but forgot it in list.

and @ raid, ya man they do the same business in calgary with the gravel you know how it is. it is DISGUSTING how much gravel is out there right now. I am planning on riding like an old lady (while trying to avoid getting rear ended) until they clean it up.

i just cant wait any longer to ride. also the bike is my only mode of transport for now so it is a double whammy not being able to ride.
