scratched head light

Hi to everybody, because English is not my native language so excuse me.
So here is a story.
After finishing my coast to coast loop ride (6300 miles) I had difficulties removing bag/ insects remaining from my head light and fairing. In order to accomplish this I used the heavy duty sponge and scratched lightly my head light lamp. (Don’t call me dumb)
Does somebody try to polish the small scratches from the headlight?

There are several types and brands of plastic polishes available out there to thelp reomve scratches to plastic and headlight lenses. Some are specifcally marketed towards headlight lenses.

There are some here that might help: Headlight Lens Care: Polish out scratches & haze to restore clear plastic headlight lens covers. Wolfgang, Meguiars, Plexus, lens cleaning system,

I think places like Pep Boys and most automitive supply stores shuold stock some of these products.
