Saw your FZ6 lying on its side today..

Strange facetious comment....anyway if the bike had indeed been leaking gas, I would have lifted the bike and/or called for assistance. The bike is not very heavy, so picking it up is easy.

Like taking things too far naturally.

Unless it was leaking fluid everywhere or in a dangerous position, i would like mine left alone aswell, would have done the same as you.

Defiantly leave it alone! Just because the person is an fz6 rider doesn't mean they are not an a$$ bag that would blame you for it. Often and unfortunately good people get to eat the Urinetown sandwich. :D

Its unbelievable what people can do!! My bike is kept behind a low garden fence from the pavement, also chained to the wall for security! I came out my house this morning to find it laying down on its right side. Now either someone tried to steal it but gave up because of the padlock or someone in their infinite wisdom just decided to push it over!!god knows why?!! not much damage, just scuffs to the bar ends and my footbrake lever is a bit bent. There is no way the fz6 can just fall over on its own.
What I was wondering is, will there be any major damage to the internal parts after being dropped from standstill? It feels ok to ride, but just to make sure, is there anything I need to look at just to re-assure me?thanks all.
If I find the person responsible or they try it again, there will be some ass-whoopin!:spank::spank::spank:

..and I felt bad.

I was coming out of Urinetown, in Cal State LA, and saw a blue FZ6 lying on its side in the motorcycle parking area. I went there and waited for you a little bit expecting I could help you to pick it up if you showed up. I looked around to see if anyone was carrying a helmet too, but then I had to go.

I dont know if you are a forum member but, im sure it sucked to walk up to that sight anyway, sorry couldnt help you. Hope the damage is not too bad..

..the messed up thing about this is that, there was no way that bike fell on its own. Im pretty positive some hater pushed it over. If they did, I hope they get hurt.

.....Urinetown?? I'd be pretty pissed off!

yeah, can you imagine what they would think when they got back, seeing thier bike upright, with a $hit ton of damage? .... WTF?! i would be more pi$$ed about that... Its like someone braking your window in your car, then sweeping it up and putting it in a bag for you... haha. I would immediatly think that whoever did it would have knocked it over, then tried to stand it back up so you wouldnt notice...

:rof: That'd just be adding insult to injury! Like a slap to the face after getting kicked in the crotch or something. lol

You did what you could. I would've done the same, almost. I wouldn't be standing near the bike, because knowing my luck, the owner would think I did it, and that I was just pretending to have "found" it like that. I'd just hang out where I could watch, then run over and help, or maybe search some nearby shops or whatever to hopefully find the owner and let 'em know.

This is just one more reason I love having a pager alarm with a perimeter sensor. Warns them off to begin with, and if they persist, I'm alerted and can at the very least catch the arse after the fact. If I can't prevent stuff from happening, I at the least want to know who did it, and preferably subdue the crook for the cops to scoop up(assuming of course I don't loose my temper and, well, you know, severe violence and all that...).
