Runs rough

Hey all, I bought a 2007 fz6 and has 9000 miles on it. Once its warmed up it runs fine. When its cold and you go to give it some gas, it stutters a lot. In neutral, if you can get it off idle and get the rpms up out of the stuttering rpms, it revs fine. What could cause this since its an 07 and efi...does it need calibrated or...?? Thanks for any and all help guys.

First thing, what is your idle set at?

Third thing: Throttle Body synchronization.

Always start with simplest possible issues. In this case, the bike is new to you.. as has been asked above.. what's the story with your gas? Have you gone through at least 1 full NEW tank? If yes, I would start by running Seafoam for few tanks.

Look inside the tank when it's nearly empty (use a flashlight). Can you see any rust?
