Rode a CBR 600 RR Today

Rode my brothers CBR 600 RR today. My thoughts? Can't say that I cared for it too much. Granted, it is a fantastic bike, has all kinds of power, it's super nimble, and it can definitely give you an adrenaline rush. However, I just was not all that comfortable on it after riding the FZ6 all of this time. The whole leaning forward aspect just felt odd. Then again, maybe I'm just getting older.

The main reason that I did decide to ride my brother's CBR was that he was thinking of selling it and getting something a bit more comfortable for the long rides he has to take to work, which is ~100 miles round trip. I told him that a local dealer has an '06 FZ6 (slower red ), and that he could sell his bike outright, buy the FZ6 and possibly have a decent amount of $$$ left over. Maybe he will. If so, there's a chance that there will be a new member to the forums.

Rode my Readiness NCO's 07 R6 today when we went to lunch, he's 5'6" and had a hellva time on my FZ! I have the clip ons forward and he was laid out like Superman flying. Too funny.

The R6 was really cool, felt like a 250 GP bike, so small. I couldn't open it up, but I enjoyed, however my hands were numb. I'd love one for the track.

The only problem with it is it's the was too slow red.

yea I rode my buddy's 08 cbr600rr the other day after we finished fixing it up from when he laid it down....wasn't too impressed either. I mean yea its fast as all get out, but I'm a big guy and being that cramped up on a bike isn't my idea of fun, and while his bike is faster, we've gone from 0-130 and he didn't exactly loose me so i'll keep my fz6 any day :thumbup:
