So if aftermarket cans cause the engine to run rich - and - K&N filters cause it to run lean - then - shouldn't they offset each other and not require a PCIII to basically run OK?

My understanding is that it may run rich at one rpm band, lean at another and they can line up to cause a problem, but the bike is so stinking rich it really doesnt matter except that it could have more power leaner in the right spots.
