Removing seat lock assembly

I'm looking into replacing the storage compartment/mud guard under the seat (the one where the tool kit is stored). It removes from the bike fine, but the seat lock attaching to it is a pain to remove. It is held on by some "special" screws, that are probably designed to be tamper resistant. However I have no earthly idea how to get them off. Anyone have experience with this particular set up? Its an 09 Fz6 fwiw.

You can get a torx bit specific for them (hollow in the middle).

Very often, with a small, screwdriver, you can knock that pin off with that screw driver and a hammer and use a regular torx bit..
(You may destroy your screw driver depending on the size of the bolt)..

If you have a Harbor freight near you they sell security bit sets fairly cheap.
