Rear brake caliper bolt pitch - M12 x 1,00 or 1,25 or x 1,50?

Hey guys!


Do any of you happen to know if the pitch of the M12 rear brake caliper bolt is 1,00 or 1,25 or 1,50 (or something else)?

I need to buy a tap to repair the thread in the brake caliper, so I need to be absolutely sure I use a tap with the right pitch.

You could take the bolt to a hardware or automotive parts store with replacement bolts and see if specifies known thread pitch bolts will perfectly mesh with your bolt threads.
In other words position your bolt and the test bolt pointing at each other and see if the threads will mesh between each other with no light showing between the threads.
