I couldn't find a thread where this was addressed, so here goes.

I changed my plugs the other day and have now noticed that at idol, the bike is at significantly lower RPM's went from 1200-1250 down to about 970-1000.

Is this bad? A sign of needed gapping? Or is this fine and i simply need to adjust my idol by a minute amount?

Any and all help is appreciated:thumbup:

Here are my old plugs in order 1-2-3-4 left to right

Any chance you have a slight miss at low rpm's? A loose plug wire/cap might not be providing enough spark which could account for the lower rpms at idle.

Any sure fire sign that i do have a miss? She fires up easy, runs great, just idols lower. No gaseous smell either. But I will recheck the plugs and caps asap.

I'd adjust the idle to the appropriate speed, and keep an eye on things.... check you MPG to see if there is a significant change. If there isn't, don't sweat it.
