A couple months ago I saw this great post that Fred did on the Givi PLX V35 bags and the SW Motech racks: http://www.600riders.com/forum/product-reviews/2446-givi-plx-v35-bags-sw-motech-rack.html
What I liked so much about it was the Motech rack that could come off in moments and leave your bike looking virtually stock. I would love to get this setup for my bike, but my concern is that I have a FAZR6 fender eliminator installed, and that is two of the mounting points for the rack.
In looking at the specs for mounting the rack, there are 3 support points on the bike frame for the rack that I think would take virtually all the weight, and the mounting points on the OEM rear fender would really just stabilize the rack. But I don't want to order the rack only to find out that I can't make it work with the fender eliminator.
Does anyone have any experience installing the Motech rack with an FE on their bike? Or any ideas as to whether I could make this work?
