Low beam projector, uses an H3 bulb, pulled it from the headlight of my Ford Focus when I converted the housing to an air inlet, comes with an H3 bulb, perfect for anyone wanting to convert their naked FZ6 to H.I.D.

No, it's not plug & play, but it can be retro-fitted into the FZ6, it's a popular mod for naked bikes in Europe.

That assembly is probably not HID but a Halogen projector. I believe that's what the H3 lamp is.

It's very easy to wire up. You would just need to run it off the left side headlamp wires. The colors would be black with the green tracer and the ground which would be the black wire.

Indeed, it's a halogen projector. But it will work very good with a rebased H3 HID bulb as well :thumbup:
The only downside could be that it is low beam only, but for certain applications/retrofits it will be a very usable item .

The wiring is indeed straight forward, but mounting and aligning it would be a different story

Can you provide reasonably exact dimensions? I've been wanting a halogen projector. I thought all projectors were HID.

It's too big for my plans, sadly. looks like I'm destined to have HIDs, even though I like the halogen light better.
