I will get in touch with Erci to test out and provide feedback on the prototype, hopefully everything is good as is and I can make these for those interested.

Hey guys, I dont post here much put lurk quite often on all the good info
Anyways besides the point I work at a sheet metal company as an Engineer, and I would like to make some parts from my FZ6, I just wanted to see if theres any interest in the community on anything specific.
So give me ideal and lets see how much interest there is in what ever it is!
Definitely have to have specific angle, but can't tell you what it should be till I get home to measure it. I was thinking that the part should have a little tab near the mounting point to prevent it from rotating.. just like the OEM plate that normally mounts to that point for cable routing.
Proper angle and alignment would be critical for a clean look for anyone going to dual headlight setup: (see what I mean?)

Looks good Erci! The first issue you addressed IS intentional forming such a small bend is a bit of a PItA, it could be done however if desired. Other tweaks are a piece of cake!
Now before I move on with this can we get an interest thead going to figure out who would want one that way I can get an accurate quote per quatity that will be made.
I can powder coat it any color, but I'm guessing MOST member would preffer black?
I guess its best if I post interest thread in "Street Fighter" section of this Forum since I dont think all follow this thread.
Just got back from inaugural ride.. PERFECT! Speedo does not move/shake/vibrate one bit! I say leave the top mount as is. Speedo makes enough contact with it to prevent any movement even without securing the top with a screw.
I'll take it out for a ride and see how much the speedo moves over bumps without using top mount bolt. If it's not noticeable, I say it's fine to leave it as is.
Yes, I think "Speedometer bracket - Group buy" would be a good thread to start in streetfighter forum and maybe in link it to a thread in group buy forum as well: http://www.600riders.com/forum/vendor-specials-group-buys/
Maybe use the pictures above so people know what to expect. I can take additional pics too.
Oh and yeah.. I bet most will want it painted black.
You should also drop a line in the FZ6R site... I'm sure some guys might be interested in this set-up. The bike look sick naked with those dual lights!
