i have a problem with my bike, it is a model fz6n 2005,which has no factory clock or odometar(i got acewell 3955 model).and I am not in a possibility to do my diagnosis and mapping.the engine,after driving,under low gas throught the city,shuts down, change sound (becommes deeper) and loses gas the bike is all factory . it is possible to perform the diagnostic and change of a map,ratio air/fuel without clock, or perform any diagnostic?

I'm not sure if you can. I'll let others with the FZ6N speak on that.

But if you haven't checked the simple stuff yet (bad gas, air filter, spark plugs, checking that your air hoses and the like haven't cracked, etc) do that for sure. Bogging due to intermittent firing in one or more cylinders can cause that lower sound from the exhaust. Only doing it at lower rev ranges points to fuel/air delivery issues. So it sounds like you're on the right track anyway. But you shouldn't need to remap unless you've changed something (new exhaust, removed air filter, etc).

Whats "under low gas", low RPM's?

If its losing power once hot, try bringing a GOOD, spare spark plug. When the bike acts up, plug the new plug into each spark plug cap, ground it and check for spark, eliminate that possible problem.

ALSO, check with Yamaha and see if they had any re-calls for the TPS on your bike (2004 and 2005 was included) and see if it was replaced. The TPS will cause all kinds of low speed problems if failing. It can be checked manually with a voltage meter but it sounds like yours is only acting up when hot so it would have to be checked when acting up...

+1 on the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor)!! There was a major recall on TPS units a few years back and the 2005 was included in the recall.

Your local Yamaha dealer can run your VIN number to check to see:
a. if it has been done to your bike
b. if you bike needs it done

measurements were performed after warming the engine...(I'll try and when the engine is cold)

Did you call Yamaha and give them your vin#????? Its a free fix

i call Yamaha and they said the tps is replaced,i dont belive in that because
my bike is from Italy (first owner crashed after 3000km and I took it from the insurance company) Can you or someone else check that with my vin for me???

The below # is mentioned in the the tech bulletin:

please call us toll-free at 1-800-227-5963 with the name and address of the new owner, along with the serial number shown above your name on the address label above.

I don't know your vin #, you'll have to make the call yourself if you don't trust your dealer or he's not accessable..

Hey that's not the TPS that you've checked seen in the pictures.
It' pressure sensor.

i have chek again today the TPS -is not the problem

fuel pump and fuel injector cause the problem.fuel pump is clean(4h lost for that and tank),now only left to do injector(I'm not sure how to do that)
